Next steps

  1. Open the DMG and drag Lecture Studio to Applications. The app is signed and notarized, so it opens without extra steps on macOS 15 and later.
  2. Pick a folder for your lectures on first launch, or let the app create one. Everything the app writes is a plain file in that folder.
  3. Connect the assistant. The writing assistant runs on Oberik; the setup guide shows how to create a project and its key with screenshots. Sign-up is open, and the app is free during the beta.
  4. Write the first deck. First launch in the docs walks through the first course, unit and outline.
